Introduction

In Pakistan's Gilgit-Baltistan region, the stunning mountain Chogolisa is situated in the Karakoram range. Because of its breathtaking beauty and technical difficulties, it is a well-liked location for climbing trips.

It is situated close to the well-known Baltoro Glacier in the Concordia region, where multiple glaciers merge. The region is well known for having some of the highest peaks in the world, such as the neighboring K2 and Broad Peak.

Another name for Chogolisa is "Brides Peak." Its distinctive trapezoidal shape and snow-covered appearance are the source of its moniker.

The ascent is difficult, but not particularly difficult by 8000-meter peak standards, despite having steep snow and ice sections and a considerable risk of avalanches and rockfalls. Climbing experience and proper acclimatization are prerequisites.
