Introduction

The Charakusa Valley Base Camp Trek is one of the Karakoram’s most spectacular yet less-traveled journeys, leading into a hidden sanctuary of towering granite spires, alpine meadows, and pristine glaciers. Nestled in the Hushe region, this valley is dominated by the dramatic peaks of K6 (7,282 m) and K7 (6,934 m), two of the most iconic unclimbed and technical mountains in the range.
