One of the most popular and difficult trekking routes in the world is the K2 Base Camp Trek. Visitors reach the base of K2, the second-highest mountain in the world at 8,611 meters, after this incredible journey. The path offers stunning views of some of the most famous peaks in the world, including Broad Peak, Gasherbrum I, Gasherbrum II, and Masherbrum, as it follows the Baltoro Glacier through the center of the Karakoram Range.
Trekkers travel through some of the world's most isolated and untamed locations on this journey, which starts in the town of Askoli. For experienced hikers, strolling beside massive glacier vistas and granite spires, such as the well-known Trango Towers, is an incredible experience. At the last destination, the K2 Base Camp, climbers get ready to face this challenging peak.
